At Qonce Police Station, the detective at the front seat looked at Simthandile she spoke.
Her: I'm looking for detective Hlatshwayo.
The officer frowned looking at the beautiful lady who was standing in front of him not believing that she could've done what they were accusing her of doing. She looked so beautiful, she had those slay queens hour glass bodies and the way she spoke. He sighed looking at the detective next to him as he closed the book infront of him.
Him: Gusha mfowethu I need to show this lady Hlatshwayo's office can you please carry on in my absence?
Gusha nodded as the officer looked at Sim and sighed.
Him: follow me.
Simthandile walked behind him as he led her to detective Hlatshwayo's office. He took a deep breath and knocked as he waited for an approval to walk in.

Inside the office, Hlatshwayo looked at the lady walking behind Malinga and frowned.
Him: are you Simthandile?
She innocently nodded as she looked at him.
Her: yes.
He took a deep breath and looked at Malinga before nodding his head. Malinga walked out leaving them in the office.
Him: *sighed* how do you know Phila and Michael and how was your relationship with them?
Her:*took a deep breath* Phila is...
Him:*correcting her* was.
Her:*nodded* of course.... Phila was my husband's brother and Michael is his boyfriend. My relationship with him wasn't one of the best relationships on earth. We had our differences like any other person or in-law would but still. I respected him. And Michael, I didn't know him that much. In fact, I only knew that they were dating.
Him:*nodded* okay, could there be any reason why you would want to kīll him or his boyfriend?
Her:*shook her head* like I said, we had our differences like any other person but that wouldn't have led to me killīng him so brutally. *Sighed* I've never even killed a fly I mean just look at me.
Him: okay, where were you today around 2 pm?
Her:*paused looking at him and sighed* I was at work and form there on I went to fetch my son from pre-school. You can check the CCTV footage at work and even at the pre-school. From there I went straight home and that's when I received a call from you.
Him:*nodded closing his journal and looked at her* okay thank you for your cooperation. We will be in touch should there be any new developments.
Simthandile nodded with a sigh.
Her: that you. And I hope you find whoever is responsible for this.
Him:*nodded* we will. You can go.
She stood up and walked out as Hlatshwayo sighed leaning back on his chair.

Meanwhile, Mr Mariana sat silently in his dark house as tears rolled down while his heart pained so much. His phone rang and he looked at the landline before picking as he cleared his throat.
Him: hello?
Person: Mr Mariana you are speaking to detective Hlatshwayo from Qonce Police Station.
Him:*took a deep breath* is she arrested.
Hlatshwayo:*shook his head* unfortunately Mr Mariana we had to scratch her out of the list because she was found innocent.
Him:*frowned* what do you mean you had to scratch her out. That girl killëd my son and you are telling me nonsensë.
Hlatshwayo: *sighed* Mr Mariana we understand your frustration but we checked the company's footage and even at the school. By the time the incident happened Mrs Mariana was at work.
Him:*clicked his tongue* don't call her that. She's not a Mariana and thanks for nothing.
He clicked his tongue hanging up and sighed as he threw a glass on the wall and it broke.

At Simthandile and Una's house, he looked at her walking in and swallowed as she walked to the bedroom. She took off her clothes and walked to the bathroom as he walked in and sighed sitting on bed. Minutes later she walked out wrapped in a towel and quietly picked her lotion as he watched.
Him: how did it go?
Her: they said they'll call me but I know I'm not guilty.
Him:*nodded* I'm sorry for snapping at you.
She looked at him and sighed putting the lotion down.
Her: I think we should just divorce.
His eyes popped as she sighed looking at him.
Her: you snapping at me and jumping into conclusions whenever you hear something about me is a sign that maybe we are not meant to be together. Maybe we are meant to be just siblings. *Sighed* we will see what we will do about Wanda but i can't continue being with you.
His heart pounded as he swallowed looking at her.
Him: I'm not doing that. We won't break up and I'm not divorcing you. I'm sorry for doubting you but we will talk this out like adults and fix things. We are not divorcing and I better not heard you talking about that again.
Simthandile sighed looking back at the mirror and applied lotion. She quietly stood and dressed up as Una sighed also getting up. He walked over and pulled her in for a hug as tears formed in his eyes. He sighed.
Him: I'm sorry for ever doubting you or not asking before coming into conclusions. It won't happen again please don't give up on me i love you.
Simthandile sighed hugged him back.
Her: I don't like it when you're making me look like a monster when I'm not. *Took a deep breath and sighed* I won't leave you. But you need to choose sides too. It's either you are with me and Nathi or against us.
He broke the hug and looked in her eyes. Simthandile swallowed looking at him as her heart skipped while they kissed. He lifted her up and.....
