The following day, in the early hours of the morning, Phila yawned sitted on his office chair. His eyes slowly shut but wanting to know more about this Simthandile kept him awake. Surely there must be something of some crime sort that she had done before. There was no way she would acesinate a hitman alone or unless she was used to doing it.

His eyes slowly shut as he swallowed picking up his energy drink and drank. He sighed reaching a breaking point as his eyes refused to stay open. He closed the laptop in frustration and walked to the room where Michael was sleeping naked with no cover on. He smiled taking off his clothes and joined him in bed. Michael turned feeling someone cuddling him from behind but Phila whispered in his ear closing the gap in between them.

Him: shhhh go back to sleep I love you.

Michael smiled blushing shutting his eyes. Phila kissed his earlobe and sighed drifting off to sleep.

Meanwhile, family members and family friends gathered in Marian\'s new house discussing the funeral arrangements. An older uncle stood up and sighed as everyone spoke amongst themselves disagreeing.

Him: Molweni Bantu abadala. I know that this is a hard time for you, it is hard for all of us but if we keep on fighting like this then we won\'t make any progress. *Sighed* I hear all your suggestions and none of you is wrong bantu abadala but when dealing with a situation like this we need to be mindful of how the deceased dies. She burnt along with her house which means that basically there is no body to bury. As much as I would\'ve like things to be done the normal way. I think it\'s best we just keep her ashes or throw them in the sea like the or old people used to do in the old days and only do the funeral here. We can\'t buy a casket because that will be wasting money since there won\'t be anyone to bury. Let\'s just do the funeral service and throw the ashes at the sea. I\'m sure that is what Sisi would\'ve wanted too.

He looked around and folded his hat taking a sit.

Him: please correct me if I\'m wrong.

The room went quiet and he smiled in relief as some nodded indicating that they were all agreeing. One of the aunt\'s from Mrs Mariana\'s side of family stood up and greeted before talking.

Her: I agree with you apho mkhwewam but where is the so called husband. Shouldn\'t he be present in meetings like these. Why is he not here to have a say because this is his wife\'s funeral at the end of the day.

Some people nodded in agreement as Nathi sighed taking off his cap. He stood up and respectfully greeted everyone.

Nathi: Uhm Tata is not okay, hence why I came as his representative. He\'s currently in hospital fighting for his life, thank you.

He sat back down as people looked at each other in shock. The uncle stood up again and closed the meeting in prayer before wishing everyone safe trips.

Meanwhile, in East London, Andisiwe watered the garden as a car stopped outside her yard. She closed the tap and smiled wiping her hands on the apron she was wearing as Andile stepped out of the car with seso who clinged on him for dear life.

She frowned walking over and sighed.

Her: at this point you guys should just build a house here and stay here cause it seems like you like it here.

Andile smiled standing before her then he chuckled.

Him: I actually don\'t, little miss here came from school crying. Apparently as her mother you were supposed to fetch her like other mothers do with their kids.

He turned her around and Andisiwe swallowed a lump looking at her red swollen eyes as she took her.

Her: hey baby are you okay?

Seso:*tearfully* you didn\'t fetch me from school today and I had already told the other kids that my mother will fetch me.

Andisiwe swallowed rubbing her back as her heart shattered.

Her: I\'m sorry baby mommy was busy but I will make it up to you I promise.

Seso\'s face lit up as she smiled looking at her.

Seso: really?

Her:*nodded with a smile* yah, how about I sleep over today and plait your hair?

Seso\'s smiled widened as Andile smiled looking at them. Andisiwe sighed.

Her: that\'s if dad is okay with that of course.

Seso looked at her father with begging eyes as Andile smiled.

Him: no problem mommy can sleep over.

Her: let me go and take a bath then we will leave then.

Seso:can I go in with you.

Andisiwe looked at Andile for approval and he nodded. They went inside leaving him alone outside.

Meanwhile, outside, Afika frowned driving to Andisiwe\'s place as he saw an unfamiliar car. He parked behind it and stepped out as a tall buff man stepped out of the yard walking to the car. He swallowed a lump matching to him. Surely this was the same man that Andisiwe was fxcking with. Now she had the audacity to even bring him to her own home.

Him:sure.

Andile turned hearing a voice and looked at the man walking over.

Him:*sighed* I saw you walking out of this yard. May I ask what were you doing?

Andile paused and frowned looking at him.

Andile: excuse me?

Afika:*took a deep breath* don\'t you think that you should respect people\'s yard, seeing how much of a whōre is. Don\'t you think that you should atleast respect her grandmother?

Andile narrowed his eyes and sighed.

Andile:i don\'t think I\'m following you, and i think you should refrain from addressing Andisiwe like that.

Afika chuckled sarcastically.

Afika: he even defends here. Did you know that she also sleeps with me so that I can pay for her school fees and also feed her? I\'m the one who does everything for her I even pay for her grandmother\'s medical bills. The girl you think you love is just a whōre that hides behind beauty. Soon she will wake up and show her true colours.
