There are two important emotions that prevent people from standing up for what is right and standing against injustice.

One is manipulative fear and the other is ego, which represents self-centeredness.

While fear impairs the quality of life, ego and its priorities desensitize people.

A person who is under the influence of these two conditions cannot understand and live life in its truth.

In this context, just as the statue of fear must be courageously confronted in order to tear it down and its oppressive shadow to disappear, it is necessary to empathize and touch life in order to avoid the isolating and unpleasant consequences of selfishness.

The highest state of virtue for man is to be able to disassociate himself from what torments his soul and to reject any imposition that makes him feel bad.
