November 1922: Howard Carter uncovers King Tutankhamun\'s tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
This discovery sparked worldwide fascination, but also rumors of a deadly curse, intensified by the sudden death of Lord Carnarvon.
Despite sensational stories, no curse was inscribed within the tomb. Carnarvon\'s death was from an infected mosquito bite, not supernatural forces.
Scientific studies revealed mold and other biological factors in tombs which could explain many of the ailments and deaths among the excavation team.
