Description
The autobiography is very introspective on the life of Bertrand Russell as it provides some reflection of an experience, a thought, and also history that form him. There exist three volumes in the autobiography, divided into the earlier years, middle life, and later years of his life. Here, Russell does some narration regarding his background upbringing, education, and academic career in philosophy that led him to this British privileged family. He writes on political activism, pacifism, social reform, and more about his intellectual development, relationships, and the cultural and political movements during that time. His writing is frank and analytical and really offers insight into one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century.
