Description
"Simple Summary of the Pillars of Islam and Eemaan" by Yoosuf ibn Abdullaah is a brief and straightforward guide designed to teach the basic beliefs and practices every Muslim must know and implement. It outlines the two main frameworks of Islam: the Five Pillars of Islam and the Six Pillars of Eemaan (faith). The Five Pillars of Islam: Shahadah (Testimony of Faith): Declaring that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His final Messenger. This is the foundation of being a Muslim. Salah (Prayer): Performing five daily prayers at fixed times throughout the day, which strengthens the connection with Allah and maintains spiritual discipline. Zakah (Charity): Giving a set portion of one’s wealth (usually 2.5%) to the poor and needy, purifying one’s wealth and promoting social responsibility. Sawm (Fasting in Ramadan): Abstaining from food, drink, and other invalidators from dawn until sunset during the month of Ramadan, to develop self-restraint and empathy. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah): A once-in-a-lifetime obligation for those who are able, signifying unity, humility, and devotion to Allah. The Six Pillars of Eemaan (Faith): Belief in Allah: Recognizing Allah as the one true Creator, Sustainer, and only one worthy of worship. Belief in the Angels: Accepting that angels exist, created by Allah to carry out His commands. Belief in the Revealed Books: Affirming the divine scriptures sent to prophets, such as the Torah, Gospel, and especially the Qur’an, which is the final and preserved revelation. Belief in the Prophets: Believing in all the prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity, including Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). Belief in the Last Day: Believing in the Day of Judgment when everyone will be resurrected and held accountable for their deeds. Belief in Divine Decree (Qadar): Accepting that everything happens by Allah’s will and knowledge, whether good or bad.
