Platonic love-\r\nIt is the purest form of love I have ever found.\r\nFamilial love is certainly the strongest,\r\nBut filled with obligations and duties,\r\nAnd so often is stained by secret, year-old resentment.\r\nRomantic love is what we are taught to long for\r\nfrom an early age.\r\nBut it is sullied by sexual desire,\r\nBy cheating, lying, pain and jealousy.\r\nPlatonic love is my favorite of them all. To see a person, get to know them,\r\nAnd choose to walk the path of life together.\r\nNot because you have to,\r\nNot because you desire each other, But because you truly admire them, To the core of their being.\r\nI have never felt\r\nmore cared for, more seen, more loved,\r\nthan when I am with my dearest friends.
