He Handed Me Over Like Trash—Now I’m Someone’s Treasure

Chapter 1: The Betrayal

The cold, damp air of the warehouse clung to my skin as I struggled against the ropes binding my wrists. The kidnappers had left me alone for now, but their laughter echoed from the other room, sending chills down my spine.

My phone lay on the floor in front of me, the call still connected. On the other end, Adrian—the man I had loved since we were teenagers—spoke with icy indifference.

\"Keep her tied up. No rush to rescue. Let her learn her lesson.\"

My breath hitched. \"Adrian, please—this isn’t a setup! I swear, I didn’t plan this!\"

A feminine giggle cut through the line. \"Adrian, the sunrise is beautiful…\"

The sound of a kiss followed, slow and deliberate, as if to mock me.

My vision blurred with tears. The boy who had once promised to protect me now left me to rot.

The call ended.

The leader of the kidnappers, a ruthless man named Viktor, stepped into the room, his dark eyes glinting with cruel amusement.

\"Seems your fiancé isn’t in a hurry,\" he mused, crouching in front of me. \"Guess we’ll have to entertain ourselves.\"

Fear coiled in my stomach. I had no choice.

With trembling hands, I reached for the only weapon I had left—myself.

I wrapped my arms around Viktor’s neck, pressing close. \"I’ll behave,\" I whispered, my voice shaking. \"Please… don’t kill me.\"

His smirk deepened. \"Good girl.\"

Chapter 2: The Devil’s Bargain

When Adrian finally showed up days later, it wasn’t to save me—it was to gloat.

But he wasn’t the one who walked through the warehouse doors.

Instead, a man in a black coat strode in, his presence commanding silence. The kidnappers dropped to their knees instantly.

\"Y-Young Master Kane!\"

Viktor paled. \"We—we got her for you! She’s ready—\"

The man—Kane—ignored him, his piercing gaze locking onto me.

\"You don’t belong to them,\" he said, his voice a dangerous purr. \"You belong to me now.\"

Before I could react, he pulled me into his arms and carried me out of hell.

Chapter 3: The Fall

Adrian’s voice on the phone was laced with fury when he realized I was gone.

\"Who the hell touched her?!\"

Kane chuckled, his fingers tracing my spine as I lay exhausted in his bed. \"She’s mine now. Fifty million—transfer it to her account. Consider it a parting gift.\"

Adrian’s rage was palpable. \"You bastard—\"

Kane hung up, his lips brushing my ear. \"Let him suffer.\"

Chapter 4: The Reckoning

Adrian showed up at my apartment weeks later, drunk and desperate.

\"Come back to me,\" he begged, clutching a ring. \"I’ll change. I’ll be better.\"

I laughed bitterly. \"You had years to change. Now? It’s too late.\"

The door opened behind me. Kane stepped in, his eyes dark with possessiveness.

\"Problem, sweetheart?\"

Adrian’s face twisted in recognition—and horror.

\"You…\"

Kane smirked. \"Me.\"

Chapter 5: The Endgame

Under the golden light of dawn, Kane slid a diamond ring onto my finger.

\"You’re mine now,\" he murmured. \"Forever.\"

I smiled, knowing Adrian would never recover from this.

Some lessons had to be learned the hard way.

And his? Had only just begun.
