Gogo shook her head with disappointed written all over her face.

Her: *her voice broke* I really thought that you were doing everything out of the goodness of your heart my son. Should I have known that I was burdening you like this I would\'ve long asked you to stop and use just rely on my government grant.

Afika took a deep breath

Her:*shook her head* it\'s okay my child I understand that when we\'re angry we speak the truth. *Looked at him* thank you for all you have ever done for me. I will find a way to repay you. You can stop doing whatever you were doing. I will see what I will do with Andisiwe\'s School fees and take a loan if needs be. She is my burden after all, she doesn\'t need to lower herself for her fees to be paid.

Afika:*swallowed shaking his head* gogo you don\'t have to go through that when I can...

Her:*sighed* I think it\'s time you focused on you family my child you\'ve helped us enough. I will see what I can do *she looked at Andile and forced a smile* It\'s nice to see you my son have a good day.

Andile respectfully nodded, she turned around and walked back inside the house leaving them behind. Andisiwe quietly walked to the car still carrying seso and got in as Andile sighed following her. He opened the door and sighed.

Him: I think it\'s best you spend the weekend here. Gogo is not fine and I don\'t want that him to come back and harrass her, she\'s too old for that. I will leave seso behind and come back for her on Sunday.

Andisiwe nodded and picked seso up as she held her for dear life.

Andisiwe: change of plans, we are going to spend the weekend with granny.

Seso screamed happily as she jumped out of the car and ran inside the house. Meanwhile, inside the car, afika\'s heart pounded as he swallowed watching this man standing by the door. Andisiwe was still inside the car doing God knows what. He picked his phone and swallowed opening his gallery and sent her a video of them having sêx that he had secretly taken.

Him: if you do not stop whatever you are doing with that ugly thing you will trend I promise you.

He clicked his tongue annoyed and drove off.

Meanwhile, at the hospital later that day Phila laid on the bed with his eyes shut as machines beeped around him. He slowly opened his eyes waking up from the drugs they had given him as the doctor smiled stand next to his bed. Phila looked at him confused before it hit him that he had done an operation.

Doctor:*smiled* congratulations the operation was a success for both of you guys.

He sighed in relief as he tried to sit up straight but his body was too heavy. The doctor looked at him and smiled.

Doc: you need to be careful. We drugged you with strong medication and they\'re still working.

Phila:*sighed with a nod* okay, did my brothers co...

The door opened as he turned looking at his brothers walking in. His face lit up looking at the both of them walking in but the smile was immediately wiped off as Simthandile followed with Nathi\'s wife. His heart skipped as he swallowed a lump looking at her innocent looking face. They greeted as Nathi\'s wife gave him a hug. Simthandile followed with a huge smile on her face making his blood rush as his heart started racing. He swallowed a lump feeling like her hug was too long while holding his breath until Simthandile broke the hug and smiled looking at him.

Her:*randomly, she looked at una and smiled* I think we should pray and thank God that Phila made it out alive.

Nathi\'s wife nodded as they all held hands as Phila kept his eyes open while Simthandile prayed. Minutes later everyone said amen as Phila swallowed looking at Nathi.

Him: please help me up I want to go to toilet.

Nathi walked over and helped him up as Phila shook a bit. Nathi looked at him concerned.

Nathi: are you okay you are shaking?

Him:* nodded* I think it\'s the medication that the doctor gave me. It\'s too strong.

Nathi: okay.

They walked to the loo as Simthandile calmly sighed leaning on her chair with her arms folded.

Meanwhile, the following day, at the Mariana\'s, family members sang church songs as the men who went to the see came back. They stopped singing.

The pastor said the word of the day and they say another hymn sing as some people cried while some sadly looked at those who cried.

Nathi and the boys walked in in black suits while Nathi pushed his father who was in a wheelchair with their wives besides them. Michael sat with the crowd wishing that he was also part of them but understanding the nature of their relationship he sighed not wanting to speak much. The program went smooth as the MC kept on calling on speakers. He stood up and smiled looking at the Mariana family.

MC: and, for our last speaker for the day. He\'s someone whom I believe was very important to Mrs Mariana\'s and she held dearly. They share three sons together *Nathi and Una looked at each other as Mr Mariana sighed* and they run very successful companies which they started from scratch *Simthandile looked at him keeping a straight face* Mr Mariana sir please come to the stage.

Everyone smiled looking at him as Nathi pushed him to the front whole Phila and Una followed behind. They gave him the mic and he sighed clearing his throat.

Him: Uhm good day everyone. *He sighed looking at everyone and swallowed* honestly, I have nothing to say about my ex wife rather than may she rest in peace thank you.

He looked at Nathi to push him as people looked at him in shock. Nathi pushed him off stage as Mr Mariana sighed looking at him.

Him: please take me to the BNB I\'m not feeling well.

Him:*sighed* please I don\'t want to argue or should I call someone to come and pick me up?

They looked at each other and sighed walking him to the car as some eyes looked at him while he ignored them.

Later that day, Simthandile and una quietly laid on the bed naked as una cuddled Sim from behind with his hand on her stomach. He kissed her earlobe.

Him: what\'s on your mind babe?

Her: *sighed* I think you should go back to work babe.

Him:*thoughtfully sighed* I would but I don\'t want to fight Phila anymore and I\'m okay where I am. I think I\'m falling in love with farming.

Her: *sighed* but don\'t you think that the family business needs you too huh? I mean, it hasn\'t been doing well since you left as CEO and investors have been withdrawing their funds. The business is clearly falling. Phila can\'t handle the business. If you\'re not doing it for you then do it for your future kids and nephews/ nieces. This is their legacy. It needs to be up and alive when they grow up so they can be able to run it even for future generations. Don\'t let our *cleared her throat* I mean your inheritance perish like that. You need to stand up for what\'s yours. I\'m not saying fight with Phila but own up to what\'s yours and fight for it. And don\'t forget to involve Nathi in every decision that you take. Even though he might not be interested in the businesses of the family but. E needs to know and take part in the decision making process because he\'s as much an inheritor as we *sighed* you are babe.

He smiled impressed as he turned around and got on top of her kissing her.

Sim smiled shyly as he got in between her legs and slid in.
